New Senior Scoop Flavor Minted

The Class of 2013 Senior Scoop flavor made its debut at One Ton Sundae, and is available at the UConn Dairy Bar.

While Mirror Lake is not frozen at the moment, the Storrs landmark just got a little cooler.

Mirror Lake Mint is the Class of 2013 Senior Scoop. Consisting of mint ice cream with crumbled Oreos and fudge swirl, the treat joins Jonathan Supreme and Husky Tracks as UConn-themed Dairy Bar creations.

Angelo Elia, a psychology major, submitted the winning name, which was chosen by a panel of seniors from more than 100 entries.

In its second year, the Senior Scoop is the brain(freeze)child of noted Dairy Bar ice cream enthusiast President Susan Herbst.
