To the University community,
The UConn community is invited to attend the second in a series of town hall meetings this semester to discuss the budgets for UConn and UConn Health, what actions the University has taken — and plans to take — to address potential projected shortfalls, as well as the current legislative session.
The virtual town hall will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from noon to 1 p.m. Once the town hall begins broadcasting, it can be viewed here.
While participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance, questions can also be submitted in real time during the town hall meeting to Communications@uconn.edu.
This mailbox will be monitored during the town hall. Questions from the previous town hall that were not answered due to time constraints will also be included.
Please visit the President’s office website to view the pre-recorded informational presentation about the budget and fiscal “guard rails,” the recording of the Jan. 24 budget town hall, and the slides for those two items.
Four additional town hall meetings on the budget will take place during the month of March. All four will be in person, with two taking place on the Storrs campus and two taking place at UConn Health in Farmington. The date, time, and location information will be sent in advance of each meeting.
Leading with joy and love for all,
Radenka Maric
President
