Honors
Kathryn Moore, associate professor in the Department of Art and Art History, has been named the Samuel H. Kress Senior Fellow from the National Gallery’s Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts. The honor comes from her work on “The Other Space of Arabesque: Italian Renaissance Art at the Limits of Representation.”
Xiuling Lu, professor of pharmaceutics, has been named an American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Fellow. Lu stands as a distinguished luminary in the realm of nanoparticle-based therapeutics and their corresponding product advancement.
Mark Terasaki, associate professor of cell biology at UConn Health, has been elected as a fellow of The American Society for Cell Biology. In his career, he has used advanced methods in microscopy to understand biological organization.
