On Sunday, September 21, the University of Connecticut will host thousands of prospective students and their families visiting campus to get acquainted with UConn and its spectrum of degree programs, residential options, study-abroad and other educational opportunities available to students. In conjunction with Open House, the School of Engineering will host introductory sessions, information booths, building tours and other activities.
The University’s Open House festivities will run from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Visitors who wish to explore the School of Engineering, its 12 undergraduate degree programs and array of learning opportunities are invited to visit our information sessions and booths from 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in room C-80 of the Information Technologies Engineering (ITE) building, which is located mid-campus between the Homer Babbidge Library and the School of Business building. Faculty members and current students will be on hand to meet visitors and answer questions.
Information booths will be located on the ITE concourse, outside of room C-80, and tours will begin on the ITE concourse as well. Two general engineering welcome sessions will be offered, at 10:10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the concourse level auditorium of the ITE building, C-80.
