UConn Puppet Arts major Elise Vanase ’21 (SFA), originally planned for IDEA grant-funded senior project to be an intimate production in an indoor theater space. Then came the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of being defeated, Vanase re-imagined her project as a multimedia piece drawing on film, photography, paper – and, of course, puppetry. In this video, she explains how “Remnants” came to be.
