This is a grant that supports 1:1 educational outreach visits, on opioid safety topics (prescription drug monitoring program, naloxone, medication-assisted treatments, and new modules to be developed) between trained Connecticut health district staff and pharmacists and prescribers in their health districts. The goal of the program to facilitate clinician behavior change toward clinical behaviors that support optimal safe use of opioids, reduce risk of overdose, and facilitate treatment for an opioid use disorder. – Dr. Rickles
