UConn Commencement Ceremony A Tribute To Graduating Seniors

UConn Engineering's Commencement Ceremonies honored our graduating seniors and honorary degree recipient J. Michael McQuade.

The History Club, led by undergraduate history majors, connects with the past in vivid ways.

The University of Connecticut School of Engineering’s Commencement Ceremony is the final activity of the academic calendar and the ultimate expression of the School’s mission to educate and mold young problem solvers. Engineering faculty and staff honored the graduating students and spoke about what it means to be a Husky after graduating.

The 2017 ceremony also featured an honorary doctorate bestowed on United Technologies Corp. Senior Vice President for Science & Technology J. Michael McQuade. McQuade spoke about how science and technology integrate with business and the government.

During commencement, a video tribute to graduating students played, highlighting the achievements of the class of 2017 over the past four years.
