Plan to attend a truly special panel discussion, “Women Engineers of the Past Half Century,” celebrating our more than 1,800 UConn Engineering alumnae, at the Storrs campus on November 30, 2012 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Moderated by alumna Sharon Nunes (Ph.D. Materials Science & Engineering, ’83), our panel of UConn alumnae will discuss their career paths and experiences as engineering students and graduate engineers.

The event will precede festivities celebrating the 40th anniversary of the UConn Women’s Center, which will feature opening remarks by UConn President Susan Herbst and a lecture by feminist, journalist, and social and political activist, Gloria Steinem at 4:00 p.m. Learn more about this signature event, and register, here.

We hope that you can join us for this very special occasion.  Please RSVP.
