At the Huskies football homecoming game at Rentschler Field on October 13th against Temple, the UConn Alumni Association sponsored a Spirit Village showcasing school and college-centric tents for alumni, students and families, and prospective students.

The engineering tent, which featured banners, hay bales and pumpkins, and other autumn-themed attractions, attracted a large and enthusiastic crowd before the football game. View photos here.

Activities at the UConn Engineering tent included a ring toss game in which contestants vied to accurately land their rings on the pumpkin stems, and a drawing for a free Kindle e-reader. The winner of the free Kindle was Joanna Hull, who awarded the e-reader to her sister Jennifer Hull (’16), a freshman in Mechanical Engineering.
