As engineers know, our profession is richly rewarding and broad in scope – encompassing a dizzying array of frontiers, from the nano-scale to vast infrastructure systems.  In celebration of engineering, in late 2011 we launched a videotaped lecture series, Engineering Horizons, which is intended to inspire, delight and inform viewers about research and development here in UConn Engineering that touches society in enduring ways.

Each short video features one or more of our exceptional faculty members discussing and sometimes demonstrating an exciting area of interest.  Five Horizons lectures have been produced to date; others await their debut (don’t miss our pre-election video on UConn’s VoTeR Center, due out later this month) over the coming months.
