Somnath Deb (M.S., Ph.D. Electrical Engineering, ‘90, ‘94) and Roshan Shrestha (M.S. Electrical Engineering, ‘94) of East Hartford-based Qualtech Systems, were profiled in an August 15 Hartford Courant news story. Qualtech was founded by UConn professors Krishna Pattipati, who is the UTC Professor of Systems Engineering in the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Department, and David Kleinman, an emeritus professor of ECE.
William Wadsworth (B.S. Mechanical Engineering, ‘77), a state representative serving the 21st District in the Connecticut General Assembly, is seeking reelection. He was first elected to the position in 2010. He also serves on the Farmington Town Council. Earlier in his career, Bill was Vice President of the CASLE Corporation, Avon.
