Shuttle Service Improvements Coming to Health Center

Changes include a student shuttle to off-campus housing and dedicated Munson Road service effective April 30.

The first of several parking-related changes on the UConn Health Center campus are effective Monday, April 30.

  • Orange Line service between 16 Munson Road and the academic entrance will resume direct service throughout the day, leaving the Munson Road building every 15 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • A fourth bus will be added to cover the Red Line off-site route, serving 10 Talcott Notch Road, 230 Farmington Ave., the Exchange, 400 Farmington Ave., and 21 South Road.
  • A fifth bus will be added for a new Student Shuttle that will serve the Forest and the Glen apartments mornings, middays and late afternoons.

Additionally, starting May 21, on-campus shuttle service will be enhanced with Express Service between the main hospital entrance and Shuttle Lot 3, which will get more use as valet service is introduced. Buses will depart as frequently as every five minutes during peak times.

Kelly Transit is the Health Center’s shuttle service provider. All schedules are available on the Department of Public Safety website.
