Since first opening its doors in 1953, and undergoing extensive renovation and expansion as part of UConn 2000, the Student Union has played a pivotal role in campus life at Storrs. The Union hosts everything from cultural events to movies, dances to meetings and seminars, karaoke to cartoons, and more. It's also a great place to hang out with friends. (Paul Horton for UConn)
