Navnit Nakrani (M.S. Civil/Structural Engineering, ’92) P.E., is the Chief Structural Engineer for the Wallingford, CT office of Prime Engineering, Inc.  He has over 27 years of experience in transportation engineering and has worked extensively on bridge engineering projects in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including highway and railroad bridges.

Gordon K. Lee (M.S., Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, ’74, ‘78), Ph.D., is a professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at San Diego State University.  He directs the Master of Engineering program at SDSU and holds expertise in the areas of robotics, control systems, fuzzy logic, neural networks and intelligent systems. He is a senior member of IEEE and ISCA, and a member of AIAA. He is also currently an Associate Editor for the International Journal on Intelligent Automation and Soft Computing.

Stephen Eaves (B.S. Electrical Engineering, ’87) is Vice President of Technology for Modular Energy Devices, Warwick, RI. Stephen invented the ModEnergy massively parallel cell technology and has over 15 years of experience in battery applications, power electronics and control system development.  He is the former president and founder of Eaves Devices, an energy storage and power systems engineering company that developed the battery management system for the Navy Advanced Seal Delivery Vehicle, the B2 Bomber Lithium-ion Battery Upgrade, the Navy Light Torpedo Development Vehicle, the XSS-11 satellite battery electronics and numerous other demanding energy storage applications.
