A ceremonial groundbreaking to celebrate the start of construction of Storrs Center, the long-awaited mixed use town center adjacent to UConn’s campus, will take place at 5p.m. today.

A ceremonial groundbreaking to celebrate the start of construction of Storrs Center, the long-awaited mixed use town center adjacent to UConn’s campus, will take place at 5p.m. on Wednesday, June 29. The event will be held at 1226 Storrs Road, at the intersection with Dog Lane. It is open to the public with parking at nearby E.O. Smith High School.
