Walker Named to Huskies of Honor

Kemba Walker became the first men's basketball player named a Husky of Honor while still a student.

During the pep rally welcoming the team home Tuesday afternoon, Kemba Walker became the first men’s basketball player named a Husky of Honor while still a student, as his name and number were displayed on the wall of Gampel Pavilion.

A rally to celebrate the Huskies’ national title is being planned to take place in Hartford. The date and time are yet to be announced.
