Winter winds may be roaring outside, but the Lion’s Tail (Leonotis leonurus) stays warm in the Floriculture Greenhouse. This plant is a perennial shrub native to southern Africa. It may also be found in California, Hawaii, and Australia. It is known for its medicinal properties and, in Africa, is part of traditional medical treatment for a variety of ailments.
