<p>Winter winds may be howling, but the Lion’s Tail (Leonotis leonurus) stays warm in the Floriculture greenhouse.  This plant is a perennial shrub native to southern Africa. It may also be found in California, Hawaii and Australia.  It is known for its medicinal properties and in Africa it is part of traditional medical treatment for a variety of ailments.
