Detail of windows at Wood Hall. Wood Hall was built in 1940 as a dormitory, was converted to offices for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in the 1960s, and now houses the history department and some administrative offices. It is named for Walter Childs Wood (1864-1953), a former state representative and a UConn trustee from 1922 to 1942. Photo by Sean Flynn
