UConn’s Board of Trustees has scheduled a special meeting today, Friday, May 21 at 2 p.m. in the Bishop Center on the Storrs campus. The purpose of the meeting is to appoint an interim president of the University. The board will first go into executive session to discuss possible candidates, then they will go into public session to vote. The interim president will serve in that position until the Board of Trustees appoints a permanent president. The search process is expected to take several months.
The agenda for tomorrow’s meeting can be found on the Board of Trustees website.
