Peter Tyczkowski, coordinator of educational outreach in the School of Pharmacy, was awarded the Bowl of Hygeia on Oct. 1, 2009, at the New England Pharmacists Convention. The Bowl of Hygeia award program is sponsored by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals to recognize pharmacists across the nation for outstanding service to their communities. Award recipients are selected through their respective professional pharmacy associations. Tyczkowski has been active in a number of community and professional activities on a volunteer basis, including serving on a number of different boards and other leadership positions.
