The Health Ethics Trust has awarded the University’s Office of Audit, Compliance and Ethics the Best Practice Award for its University-wide risk assessment process and compliance monitoring plans at the UConn Health Center, a collaborative effort involving the compliance and audit staffs from both the Storrs campus and the Health Center.

The annual Best Practices selection conducted by the Health Ethics Trust is a peer-reviewed process that accepts proposals from for-profit and non-profit organizations. UConn was the only award winner in the higher education/academic medical center category.
